Early Childhood Care and Development

Learning and Well being in Emergencies

As a sectional part of our core work in reaching out to school-aged children who are not currently registered in educational programs, we have drafted our Learning and Well being in Emergencies approach to work with children who are living in conflict-affected areas. These groups form half of all the out-of-school children worldwide. This approach adapts our successful Literacy Boost interventions and enhances specific socio-emotional learning skills to benefit children suffering from the stress of displacement and violence to re-educate and start restoring normalcy in their lives.
