Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Creating A Brighter Future

Creating A Brighter Future

Children from all countries and all cultures are exposed to all levels of social and economic violence, including physical and psychological violence, intolerance, sexual exploitation, neglect or deliberate deprivation.

Children living in homes and societies affected by conflicts, natural disasters and global epidemics, such as HIV / AIDS, often face an increased risk of abuse, violence and exploitation.

Families who lost their homes or livelihoods in conflict or natural cause find it difficult to keep their families together and protect their children. Children who have suffered from psycho-social difficulties can have negative effects on their learning outcome, relationship building and in due course their capacity to thrive to adult members of the culture. As soon as we focus the mind on ranking these youngsters and their families and working with them and their communities to highlight protection, we can reduce the negative consequences they face.

To achieve these ambitious goals for children, their families and their communities, we are working to prevent violence from happening in the first instance. However, in the case of violence, we intervene to ensure that children have the provision they required to recover and to create a helpful and defensive atmosphere. We strategize this by:

  • Strengthen families and caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to protect children.
  • Working with Governments to develop and implement child protection policies.
  • To assist bondholders and other relevant partners, such as social workers, doctors, teachers and police, to effectively implement and coordinate child-friendly services.

In line with the aspirations of Stact Foundation, violence against children is not tolerated. We concentrate on the most underprivileged and freeze out children who are often times left out for the singular reason of sexual category, topography, scarcity, background or powerlessness in both public-spirited and improvement contexts.

Some of our modern work take account of:

  • Reinforcement of support structures for orphans and defenceless children affected by the worldwide AIDS epidemic, including.
  • Connecting children and families to the basic service areas such as HIV treatment, maintenance and avoidance, diet, education, healthcare, lawful protection and emotional support.
  • Empowering out of school, especially girls, through informal education, life skills and vocational training targeting the reduction of the risk of HIV.
  • Work with governments, communities and families to ensure that children have access to family care to reduce separation and other risks by:
  • Assisting Governments in developing policies and standards for alternative care, including foster care and kinship care.
  • Enlightening social defense systems by building the capabilities of social workers, setting principles and carry out reference mechanisms.
  • Make stronger families with affirmative parenting expertise and commercial opportunities.
  • Arrange for psycho-social care services to children who in the past has suffered from various kinds of violence or children has been taking advantage on, as well as:
  • Provision of education, emotional and social health-giving via our fashionable package, Healing and Education through the Arts (HEART).
  • Assisting children and families in crises to retain steadiness and family protection or bring back steadiness and security through:
  • Make available safe spaces for children to socialize, play, study and express themselves while transforming their lives. Child-Friendly Spaces likewise serve as a mechanism to protect against abuse and psychological pain that helps children during and after crises.
